LGA Chair Cllr Eamonn O’Brien and Interim Chief Executive Jenny Rowlands welcomed councillors newly appointed to the LGA’s member structures to its annual member briefing day earlier this month.
Introductory sessions on the LGA – including on how it influences national policy, its sector support programme and the work of its political groups – were brought to life through case studies and member testimonies.
