More than 2,700 people – councillors, officers, partners, national politicians, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors – came together at the LGA’s annual conference in Bournemouth, to share ideas, learn from one another and tackle some of the biggest issues facing local government.
There were discussions on public service reform, housing, social care, finance and devolution; conversations and ideas shared in a refreshed Innovation Zone; and networking and social events, including early morning swims, walks and runs.
New additions to conference this year included the LGA Voices podcast, a photo exhibition, a sketchologist and the LGA Lounge.
